The suitcase opens up and the inside is completely lined with floral print fabric in beige, light blue, pink, and green. The inside back and lid of the suitcase even have the ruffled elastic partitions for keeping smaller items in place. Please note that the suitcase doesn't open all the way and it also doesn't close all the way. Also, please note that the blue stick tack residue on the suitcase in the photos has since been removed - unfortunately I didn't notice it when I was photographing the item! The suitcase is now in excellent vintage condition and perfect for any room in your dollhouse, or use it in a miniature store or shop.
