Vintage pocket-size flip-up notebook has a dark green textured cover stamped with "Koehring Heavy Duty". Inside is printed some information on the Koehring Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a name, Jule Kopp, written in cursive script. The pages have drawings of animals, people, houses, as well as words (some written backwards!) song lyrics, all appearing to be written by a child. There are a few different handwriting samples in the book, so it could possibly have been written by a few children, and maybe an adult added a few words here and there (see all photos). Many of the pages are blank as well. The last piece of paper has the same girl's name with an address in Cleveland, Ohio, and the date of January 22nd, 1936 is hand-written on the inside back cover. Please see all photos - this book is in relatively good condition considering its age, but there are some spots of damage on the cover. It also has a slight "old book" smell to it. It's so cute to read all the pages though and it's great for collectors or as a quirky display or conversation piece.
Measures 3" x 4.75" x a little over .25" thick.
All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
