Shipping policy

Order Processing 

Orders are packed and shipped within 1-3 business days of receipt, and we operate and ship out of the state of Ohio in the USA.  

Once your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email with the order details. If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder or contact us at help@themustarddandelion.com for confirmation. Once an order has been shipped, you will receive an additional email with the tracking number.

If you need any help or assistance with your order, please contact us immediately at help@themustarddandelion.com. Once an order is marked as shipped it cannot be edited, changed, or canceled in any way. 

 

Shipping

Items are shipped via USPS and with the most economical service for that product - Ground Advantage (2-5 business days) for most items, Media Mail (2-8 business days) for books, and Priority Mail (1-3 business days) if you choose the 'expedited shipping' option at checkout. The Priority Mail shipping upgrades will expedite your order from shipping Ground Advantage or Media Mail to Priority Mail in order to accelerate the shipping and delivery process, and along with changing the shipping to a faster method it will also move your order to the front of the queue and we will get it packed and shipped sooner than the standard 1-3 business days. ("Business days" refers to Monday-Friday and excludes all national and banking holidays where the mail service is not in operation.) 

If you would like your items shipped to arrive even sooner (such as with overnight/Priority Mail Express), please message us at help@themustarddandelion.com and we can obtain a shipping quote and then adjust an order or listing or send an invoice if you choose to proceed. Please keep in mind that overnight shipping can cost at a minimum $40-$60.00!

Please make sure that your shipping address is correct before completing checkout as The Mustard Dandelion is not responsible for orders or loss of items shipped to an incorrect address. If an order is returned to us due to errors in the address provided at checkout we will send a notification and refund the original order (minus the shipping fee), or if you want your order reshipped to the correct address then you will be invoiced for an additional shipping label. 

We are not responsible for stolen items that have been marked as "delivered" by the carrier, as it is the buyer's responsibility to make the necessary arrangements to have items placed on hold, picked up, or delivered to a safe location, especially if you will be out of town when the package is expected to be delivered. If an item has been stolen, it is recommended that you file a stolen mail report with your local post office via usps.com as well as your local police department. We also do not refund original shipping charges for items that are returned to us due to an insufficient or incorrect shipping address, as it is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that all personal and pertinent information on the order or associated with their account is current and correct. If an order with an incorrect address is returned to us by the post office the buyer will be notified and charged for an additional shipping label if they want their order reshipped to them at a correct address.

Packages will not be considered lost until non-delivery after 30 days from the ship date for domestic orders and 75 days for international. Refunds will not be issued prior to these time periods, and a lost package claim will then be filed with the USPS.

Gifts can be shipped directly to the recipient, but please double check that their name and address is correct and that your billing address information is correct as well. 

Please note that we are not responsible for shipping carrier delays and that we are unable to ever guarantee a date of delivery (even when an expedited shipping option is purchased), as this is up to the post office or local carrier and is out of our hands.

International Orders & Shipments: 

International buyers are responsible for all customs and/or value added tax (VAT) fees. Import duties and related fees and/or taxes are not included in the item price or shipping charges. The buyer is responsible for knowing and accepting your country's regulations and all related fees on international purchases. Please do not purchase something that is prohibited from import in that particular country or region on the receiver's end. All customs forms will declare the full value of the package contents as well as the true contents of the package. Once shipped we have no control over added VAT fees or delays or confiscation at customs. Orders returned due to refusal of fee payment will be issued a refund for the item price only minus a 15% restocking fee. Any original shipping charges will not be refunded. In order to receive the refund the item must be returned in its original state with no damages or alterations of any kind.

We are not responsible for lost, missing, damaged or stolen orders purchased from international countries that do not allow the purchase of package insurance at the time of the purchase of the shipping label(s). Please contact us in advance of your purchase if you would like clarification or to find out if your country of residence is on this list. 

 

Due to many factors in the US and other countries with significant delays in delivery times overseas as well as high costs and fees associated with shipping and transporting, we are currently only shipping within the US and to Canada and Australia. We hope to turn international shipping options back on soon, and we apologize for any inconveniences in the meantime.
