Rare vintage glass toothpick holder by Degenhart in the Daisy & Button pattern is a unique mint green/light blue and purple slag glass color that is very hard to find! (The color is actually called Green Lavender Slag). The toothpick holder has a scalloped rim, textured details and three feet. The bottom of the inside is stamped with the Degenhart logo, a letter "D" inside a heart. Daisy and Button toothpick holders were first introduced in 1970 and was a reproduction of an 1885 toothpick holder made by Hobbs, Brockunier and Company of Wheeling, West Virginia. A similar toothpick holder is currently made by L.G. Wright Glass of New Martinsville, WV. The Daisy & Button toothpick holder was not stamped with the logo until 1972 though. Excellent vintage condition and perfect for holding toothpicks, cotton swabs, matches, cocktail picks, or makeup brushes. A rare and hard to find piece, especially in this color!
Measures 2" in diameter x a little over 2.5" tall.

All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
