Rare vintage bone china rabbit figurine is by Py Miyao Japan and was originally designed for the Walt Disney film 'Bambi'. The rabbit has anthropomorphic features and is brown and white with pink eyelids and nose and plastic whiskers. There's a very tiny chip on the tip of the highest ear and a small splotch of gold on the same ear (see photos). The splotch appears to be a manufacturer defect though. The figurine is in otherwise great vintage condition and is stamped on the bottom with "PY". A wonderful collector's piece that's very hard to find!
Measures 1.75" x 1.5" x 3" tall.
All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
