Gorgeous vintage makeup compact comes in its own little purse! The carrying case is a sparkly gold fabric with a pocket on the outside that snaps closed that can be used for a credit card, ID, or some folded up cash. The inside is lined with black fabric. The compact is gold brass with an abalone inlay on the top. Inside is a mirror and 3 compartments - 2 compartments have lids that lift up. The one on the left is empty and clean of all makeup residue. The compartment in the middle is stamped with "Elgin American Made in USA" and has the original makeup puff (it is clean and unused), which is also embroidered with "Eglin American" on the handle of the puff. The powder/puff compartment also has a filter that can be lifted out and cleaned if you use it for loose powder. The compartment on the right holds a gold lipstick tube that is also clean and free of makeup residue. This is a gorgeous set in pristine condition as it appears to have never been used. Please see all photos - we tried to capture as much detail as possible! Great collector's item, and it also makes the perfect gift for a bride on her wedding day.
Purse measures 3.75" wide x 2.5" tall x almost 1.5" deep.
Strap drop is 3.75".
Compact measures 3.5" long x 2.25" wide x 1" thick.
The two lidded compartments measure 1.25" x 2.25" x .75" and the lipstick compartment measures .75" x 2.25" x .75".
Lipstick tube measures a little over .5" in diameter x 2.25" long .

All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
