Pretty vintage celluloid comb and cover set is a marbled brown made to resemble tortoise shell. The cover of the comb is adorned with green etched bugs that most closely resemble flies and are accented with tiny white rhinestones and faux pearl beads. The comb is stamped with "Bonwit Teller" and "Made in France". There are some slight signs of wear that are consistent with age and/or use (please see photos), but it's in overall great vintage condition with no stones missing. Perfect for your vanity, or slip in into your purse for on the go touch-ups!
Measures 4" long x a little over 1.5" wide x .25" thick.
All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
