Pretty vintage round celluloid vanity pill box is a marbled brown made to resemble tortoise shell. The lid pulls off and is adorned with green etched bugs that most closely resemble flies and are accented with tiny white rhinestones and faux pearl beads. The inside is stamped with "Handmade in France". It isn't marked, but I believe it's made by Bonwit Teller since I have a matching vanity piece originally purchased together that is marked with Bonwit Teller. (See below for link to the matching comb.) There are some slight signs of wear that are consistent with age and/or use (please see photos), but it's in overall great vintage condition with no stones missing. The perfect little box for your vanity or dresser top for pills, or use it for your wedding rings or a favorite pair or two of earrings. Makes a great gift box too!

All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
