Unique and pretty vintage set includes a pair of magnifying eyeglasses that fold up super small to fit inside a tortoise-style case. The top of the case flips open and the inside is lined with velvet, while the outside is a sturdy plastic. The glasses have silver frames, protective grips at the nose, and small, oval-shaped lenses. The inside of one of the earpieces is stamped with "Taiwan" and the other is stamped with "+3.00". Please see all photos for the demonstration of how the glasses fold and unfold. (Hint: to close them up, fold in the center at the nose first and then lower each ear piece to the sides). Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition, though there is some wear to the velvet on the bottom of the inside of the case. The perfect little compact size to carry around in your purse!
Folded up the eyeglasses measure almost 2.75" long x 7/8" wide. Unfolded the glasses measure 5" long x 3" wide. Each lens measures 1 5/8" wide x .75" tall, and each ear piece extends to 4.5" long.
The case measures 3" long x 1 3/8" wide x a little over 5/8" thick when closed.
All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
