Beautiful and rare vintage opaline glass vase or bottle is a pretty shade of cerulean or aqua blue with hand-painted flowers and leaves in shades of green, orange and yellow with raised painted white dots and a small ladybug accent on one side of the vase and a small branch with leaves painted on the other side. The bottom has either "SL" or "75" painted on it, depending on the angle that it's viewed. Bristol glass looks opaque but when held up to the light produces a pretty moonlit appearance! Great for displaying on a windowsill. In our research we believe this was originally a perfume bottle, but it has no odor left and the stopper is missing. Please note that the bottle slightly rocks back and forth due to a manufacturer error in the glass on the base (see photos). It's in otherwise excellent vintage condition though and believed to be from the mid to late-1800's. Perfect for a vase to display a single bloom or a small bouquet of wildflowers! A rare and hard to find piece.

Measures 3.25" at the widest diameter with a .75" diameter opening at the top and 5 1/8" tall.

All items come from a smoke-free, chemical-free, and pet-friendly environment. We do have one shop cat but she is terrible at wrapping so we don’t usually ask her for her help! Our inventory is also stored in a room that she does not have access to, but since cat hair can possibly be transferred from our clothing please let us know if you have allergies or sensitivities to cats and we will take extra precautions.
